The phrase "nappy-headed ho's" was not pulled from a vacuum, but from a glossary of ghetto jargon.
1. Don mistakenly viewed himself as a "brother" - one of the boys - thought he held a pass...
2. Black people are reminding all us whites, there is no standing invitation that ONE black person or a cadre of black persons can extend as a valid provision for open participation in what is construed by the black population as "black power" in taking certain derogatory expressions and claiming them as their own.
3. When in the rare situations that black people can express political clout through perceived or real threats of economic boycotts, they will do it because they can, and if possible, bring you to your knees.
4. Moreover, perhaps there exists a conspiratorial current deep in the water, stirring jealous blacks to drive toward further sanctions and censorship - all designed to ultimately and finally advance the cause of legislation against the use of the "N" word with the ultimate goal of ending the careers of Snoop and Ving Rhames.
Okay - I don't use the "N" word and don't like anyone who does, but as I once heard - if that happens - "Snoop couldn't order a cup of coffee."
And as for Ving... well, how could anyone, white or black, target his genius? Have you seen "Only In America?" If not made for TV, Oscar would be decorating his mantle.
Ving... Ving, baby... My Nigga...
